Developmental Disability Services
Everyone deserves a life that is their own: a morning routine they choose, a job or activity they look forward to, and people around them who see what they can do. Our support helps children and adults with developmental disabilities build that independence at home and in the community, with the patience, consistency, and respect each person deserves.
For parents and family members who have carried this work alone, we also offer something simpler: the chance to step back, knowing your loved one is in good hands.

Support built around the person
No two people want the same day. We start by learning about your loved one’s goals, routines, and what makes them comfortable. Then we recommend caregivers we think will be a good fit, and you and your loved one interview them. The final choice is always yours.
Services we are certified to provide
Homemaker/Personal Care (HPC): Hands-on help with personal care, household tasks, and daily routines, along with support for taking part in community life.
Participant-Directed HPC (PD-HPC): The same support, with your loved one or your family deciding how and when it happens.
HPC Transportation: Getting to work, appointments, and activities is part of a full life, and our caregivers help make it possible.
Residential Respite: Short-term care that gives family caregivers time to rest and attend to their own lives.
Waivers we accept
Our services are billable under all three Ohio DODD waivers: Individual Options (IO), Level One, and SELF.
Waivers are accessed through your county board of developmental disabilities, and your Service and Support Administrator (SSA) can help you understand which applies.
Caring for a family member? You may be able to be paid for it.
Many families don’t know that under Ohio’s DODD waivers, family members may be able to be paid for the care they already provide, working through Cincere. Our Family Caregiver Guide explains how it works and how to get started. Download it, keep it handy, or share it with your SSA.
Not sure where to start?
That’s okay. Whether you’re new to waiver services, comparing providers, or just have questions, we’re glad to talk it through, even if we turn out not to be the right fit.
