Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you serve?
Hamilton, Butler, and Warren counties in Greater Cincinnati. If your area isn’t listed, contact us anyway.
Who do you care for?
Older adults, and children and adults with developmental disabilities.
How do we pay for care?
We accept long-term care insurance, private pay, and all three Ohio DODD waivers: Individual Options (IO), Level One, and SELF.
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
We don’t accept Medicare. Our DODD waiver services are Medicaid-funded; for older adults, we accept long-term care insurance and private pay.
How soon can care begin?
It depends on your loved one’s needs and schedule. Reach out, and we’ll talk through timing together and move as quickly as we can.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Visits are at least 2 hours, with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Can we choose our caregiver?
Yes. We recommend caregivers we think will be a good fit, and you and your loved one interview them. The final choice is always yours.
What if our caregiver isn’t the right fit?
Just let us know, and we’ll introduce you to someone else.
What happens if our caregiver is sick or on leave?
We send a backup caregiver, so your loved one’s care continues.
Are your caregivers background-checked and trained?
Yes. Every caregiver is background-checked and trained before working with clients.
Do your caregivers wear uniforms?
Our caregivers don’t wear scrubs, because many of our clients prefer a less clinical feel. Instead, they wear a Cincere badge, so you always know who’s with your loved one.
